Mafia Billiard Tricks puts you at a pool table where every opponent belongs to a mafia crew. You are not there just to kill time, either. The only way to earn the gang's respect is to beat each of its members, one after another, in straight games of billiards.
It is a free online game in our Billiard section, built in HTML5, so a laptop and a smartphone both handle it. The underworld setting gives each match a bit of tension, but under the costume it is proper cue sport, and a clean break plus good positional play still decide who wins.
Taking on the crew
Each match pits you against one member of the crew. Aim your cue with the mouse, set how hard you hit, and send the white into the object balls so they drop into the pockets. Win the frame to move on to the next gangster. With a finger on the glass, the same shots are lined up by dragging.
Pool tips against the mob
- Before striking, picture where the white will come to rest, not only whether the target drops.
- A softer hit is often more accurate than a hard one, especially on long shots.
- When no pot is on, leave the white somewhere awkward for the gangster.
