King of Solitaire is a Tri Peaks game, the solitaire variant with three peaks of cards and a single pile underneath that you keep building on. It follows the standard rules, which makes it quick to learn and simple to return to after a break. You will find it in our Cards category.

Tri Peaks moves faster than Klondike or Spider, since every move is a single click and you are always just looking for the next card up or down. King of Solitaire also plays by tapping on a phone or tablet.

Tri Peaks rules

Click an open card whose rank is one higher or one lower than the waste pile's top card, down at the bottom right. That card becomes the new top of the pile, and you continue the chain from there. When nothing on the peaks fits, draw again from the stock. You win the deal by clearing all three peaks.

Longer chains

  • Keep long chains going, every card from the stock breaks the run.
  • When two cards fit, pick the one that frees more face down cards.
  • Save the stock for when the peaks really have no match.
