A cannon game is a physics puzzle with a loud bang. You pick an angle, sometimes the power as well, and try to hit something the direct line cannot reach. Walls, bounces and gravity do the rest. You can fire away for free here, as many times as a level demands.
The Laser Cannon series is a classic of the type. In Laser Cannon 2 and Laser Cannon 3 you aim a laser to clear every monster from the level, using as few shots as you can. Cannon Balls 3D fires cannon balls at 3D targets, and Indi Cannon Mobile launches a character out of a cannon to see how far he can travel.
